Anna has experience counseling children and families, as well as working with individuals and couples. She also has much experience working with adolescents, including incarcerated youth in juvenile detention in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. She has worked as a counselor for the Public Defender’s office and the District Attorney’s office in Santa Fe, providing Forensic Psychology Evaluations for their clients. In the past, Anna has also worked for The Santa Fe Mountain Center, helping to create educational and therapeutic wilderness programs for at-risk teenagers.
Anna is a certified It’s Yoga, Kids® yoga instructor and offers private, as well as group classes to children ages 3-15. It’s Yoga, Kids® mission is to promote health and well-being for children of all ages and abilities. They provide yoga as an engaging activity for mind and body development for kids – infants to teens – and families. The fun and proven curriculum builds life-skills and inspires positive connections between kids, parents and educators. Anna has taught yoga classes at the Rio Grande School in Santa Fe, as well as individual and group classes with private clients. An avid yogi, skier and mountain biker, Anna spends most of her free time exploring the Sangre de Christo and San Juan mountain ranges with her family. The high desert mountains of the Southwest provide endless inspiration for adventure and creativity, as well as reflection and healing.
